BST Group is organizing the "Go Green" initiative to promote a low-carbon society, focusing on sustainability and environmental restoration. This marks the 14th consecutive year of their commitment to these important goals.

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST), BST Elastomers Co., Ltd. (BSTE), and BST Eneos Elastomers Co., Ltd. (BEE), along with their executives and employees, will host the event "BST Group Engages with the Community" under the theme "Go Green" to promote a low-carbon society, focusing on sustainability and environmental restoration. This marks the 14th consecutive year of this initiative.

The purpose of the event is to foster relationships, facilitate discussions, share information on occupational health and safety, environmental issues, and community engagement activities, as well as to exchange ideas for sustainable coexistence. Participants will include representatives from various sectors, including government agencies, local community members from Map Ta Phut Municipality, and Ban Chang Subdistrict, as well as tripartite committee members.

BST Group has been involved in reforestation efforts in the community forest of Ban Noen Samret since 2022. In 2024, an additional 400 trees will be planted, comprising two species: mahogany and redwood. This initiative will absorb approximately 3,800 kilograms of CO2 annually, helping to restore the community forest in Ban Chang and increase green spaces. It aims to inspire conservation efforts to address climate change, aligning with the principles of sustainability in the ESG frameworkcovering environmental, social, and governance dimensions. Additionally, it supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing the importance of collective action among government, private sector, and business to tackle global challenges.
