On December 13, 2024, Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST Group) was honored to receive a plaque and certificate under the CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2024 program, which promotes sustainable social and community responsibility in industrial factories for the year 2024.
The award ceremony was attended by Mr. Parinyawat Thongsiricharoen, Procurement Manager representing Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST); Mr. Chayapong Paseephon, Business Manager for Synthetic Rubber and Latex and General Manager for Human Resources and General Administration, representing BST Elastomers Co., Ltd. (BSTE); and Ms. Bussaba Bunmun, Community Relations and Corporate Communications Manager, representing Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (NBR Latex Production Project). The awards were presented by the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, with the event presided over by Mr. Ekanat Promphan, Thailands Minister of Industry, at the Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province. The three companies under BST Group were recognized for their adherence to seven core principles and nine key criteria, which serve as guidelines for fostering acceptance and collaboration among communities, society, and stakeholders, aiming to ensure sustainable coexistence. Additionally, BST Group emphasizes the importance of sustainable business development driven by the ESG framework (Environmental, Social, and Governance), aligning its operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
