BST Group Addresses Global Warming Crisis by Participating in World Environment Day

The Rayong Office of Natural Resources and Environment organized a World Environment Day event featuring a workshop on climate change in Rayong Province under the theme "Ready to Change, We Change, World Change." The event took place on June 5, 2024, at the Star Convention Hotel in Rayong. Mr. Chaloem Phumma, Director of the Rayong Office of Natural Resources and Environment, delivered the report, and Mr. Kalchai Thepworachai, Deputy Governor of Rayong, gave the opening remarks and a special lecture.

Participants included representatives from various government agencies in Rayong, the general public, Village Health Volunteers (VHVs), the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), the Pollution Control Department (PCD), and the private sector of Rayong Province. Representing BST Group, Mr. Viroj Lertslak joined the event to show solidarity on World Environment Day, echoing the theme "Ready to Change, We Change, World Change."

The event featured a collaboration project to create a greenhouse gas reduction inventory for Rayong Province (Reduction GHG Rayong Inventory) and an exhibition titled "The Possibilities for Inclusive Green Growth: Achieving a Low-Carbon Society Together with Green Innovation." Additionally, a panel discussion was held under the theme "Ready to Change, We Change, World Change" to address the global warming crisis collaboratively.
